ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS

We commit to comply with the laws, regulations and standards of the Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and aim to implement the norms within the framework of the continuous improvement approach. During the development, planning and investment phases, we take care that products and processes are environmentally friendly. We attach importance to our staff working in healthy and safe environments. We continue our studies in cooperation with other institutions and organizations.

MINIMIZING ENVIRONMENTAL LOAD

To implement the technologies that harm the environment to the minimum extent technically, economically and commercially, to protect our natural resources, to keep the use of raw materials in optimization and to help ensure appropriate recycling of waste is our main responsibility. It is our primary aim to control and reduce the environmental impacts to air, water and soil. Depending on this purpose, we
are conducting continuous improvement studies. While continuing our activities by considering the rights of our neighbors within the scope of our facilities, we aim to work as a whole with the companies we cooperate with. We aim to maximize the environmental management performance by minimizing all environmental and social impacts resulting from our activities and by implementing recycling methods.

IMPROVEMENT OF OHS AND ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

We observe the safety and health of our operations and production by reducing the hazards of resources that could endanger our business health, security and environment and by securing the working environment. We aim to generate awareness of our diversity by bringing our risks arising from working conditions to an acceptable level.

TAKING CARE OF NEW INVESTMENTS AND PROJECTS

In new investment projects, we attach utmost importance to environmental and occupational safety factors. Within this scope, by taking into account the laws and the area where our campus is located, the necessary permits are obtained and we start our new investments and projects by taking into consideration the environmental impacts. We develop the environment and OHS management system by continuously reviewing and supervising it.

ENSURING THE PARTICIPATION OF EMPLOYEES

We, especially the management of the company, believe that we should actively participate in the activities in this field with the awareness that protecting the environment is our responsibility as all HLEKS personnel. For this purpose, we are constantly developing ourselves in the field of environmental protection through effective information flow and training. To improve the environmental sensitivities of employees and suppliers, we raise awareness of them on safe working.
